The owner, Dan Perme, learned basic landscaping property maintenance at a young age while growing up in Georgia. Dan came to the area after graduating from the United States Naval Academy in 2012. His first duty station was at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek, VA. He served on active duty in the Navy for more than 6 years and in the Navy Reserves for 2 years before being honorably discharged and making Virginia Beach his home. After briefly returning to Georgia where he obtained his MBA from the University of Georgia, Dan and his family returned to Virginia Beach where he continued to refine his skills in landscaping through hands-on application at his own property. Dan's Landscaping, LLC began as a side-hustle while Dan was concurrently managing a career in corporate America as a Senior Program Manager for a Fortune 100 technology company. What started as a a flicker of interest helping others have beautiful landscapes soon turned into a passion, and eventually led to Dan leaving his desk job to develop his business full time. Dan loves being outside, learning new things, spending time with his wife and two daughters, and enjoying all things living in coastal Virginia has to offer.
